News: Pay Increase For Veterans

January 26, 2021
Now that America has sworn in a new Commander in Chief, we embark on a new journey together. According to the Military Officers Association of America, veterans who receive benefits from the VA will see a pay raise starting this month. This raise ensures veteran payouts adjust for inflation.
"Military retirees, those who receive disability or other benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs, federal retirees and Social Security recipients will see a 1.3% increase in their monthly checks for 2021," (Military Officers Association of America, 2020)
Throughout last year, the Coronavirus negatively impacted veterans and their families. This pay increase, while not too surprising given the track-record shows veterans can depend on the government to honor their commitments. Sometimes, and especially after last year, it's good to celebrate victories both big and small.
We thank our veterans for their service.
