Liberty Medical Center (LMC) provides mental health services to veterans and their adult family members, regardless of discharge status. Our services are also available to veterans who are not using VA benefits.

Our goal is to become the veteran community healthcare provider of choice. In the next 5 years, LMC will provide our nation's heroes with quick access to quality healthcare in the areas of mental health, primary care, women's health, and audiology.

Liberty Medical Center of Texas

Liberty Medical Center of Texas (LMC) is a nonprofit health system dedicated to providing mental health services to all veterans and their families in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex and surrounding communities.  We are passionate about expediting access to care for our Members. 

In partnership with our medical staff, we are focused on compassionate, high quality, cost-effective service that addresses physical, psychological, and emotional wellness. We work to improve the health status of our heroes and their families. 

We promise to provide our Members with an atmosphere of respect, professionalism, and compassion. Our prompt service accelerates the physical, mental, and spiritual healing process to have a positive impact on Members’ overall quality of life. 

Our goal is to become the definitive provider of choice for veterans for mental health, primary care, women’s health, and audiology services.

​William Donald Widener, Jr. was not only one of the founders of Liberty Medical Center of Texas (LMC), but was also one of the inspirations. William enlisted in the Air Force in 2000 as a fireman/paramedic and served during Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom. For his service to our nation, Mr. Widener was awarded National Defense, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary, and Global War on Terrorism Service medals.
